Question: With a large "Hype" around STEM cells, how beneficial will they actually be towards the treatment of diseases such as cancer or blood infection.
I don’t work on stem cells personally but I know a great blogger called Soph Talks Science who did during her PhD. She is better to ask than me.
From my understanding you can use stem cells to create any kind of cell you want so you can in theory tune cells to go after cancer cells that you don’t want to be around the body.
