Some cancers are curable though. I received treatment for thyroid cancer 2.5 years ago and I have been fine ever since!

What defines a cancer as Cancer?
(Basically what makes something a cancer)
Fiona commented on :
Cancer is the name given to a disease that involves uncontrolled division of cells i.e. the growth of a tumour. Any unusual growth that has a number of other biological characteristics (known as “The Ten Hallmarks of Cancer”) are said to be cancer. There’s debate about whether we should change the language we use around milder cancers to make them seem less scary.
