      I was brought up in a fairly religious home, and I went to a faith school growing up. I’m not really sure about my belief in god or a higher power. I try to live my life in a positive way, regardless as to whether there is a supreme being. But I respect anyone’s religious views, and understand they are deeply personal. My older brother is very religious, and we get on fine!

      I was brought up Muslim in the UK, so very liberal and western. However, when I started studying science at school, I did some soul-searching and realised I didn’t believe in God. So I am an atheist.
