• Question: Are there any disadvantages of flow chemistry?

      There can be – even though when we do flow chemistry the chemical reactions tend to go a lot quicker, it means that we have to think a lot more about how we are engineering our set up. You can run an reaction quickly, but you have to look for leaking tubes, or for blocked pumps, so this adds a whole new level of complexity to just doing a chemical reaction. This is something that you can fix though, and the more people that start to do it the better we will get at it as a community! Rome wasn’t built in a day!
