We actually find drugs and ways to treat diseases in some of the most obscure places. Some of the antibiotics that are used today come from plants in far away rainforests and from deep sea vents at the bottom of the ocean. Some cheese is made from enzymes, which are naturally occurring catalysts that do natures chemistry, so they can sometimes make obscure chemicals that could perhaps one day be used to treat diseases such as cancer. To destroy cancer though could be a big task for cheese!

From your username, I can understand why you might ask this, haha!

Sadly I don’t think just eating cheese can destroy cancer. If anything, eating too much of it may increase your chances of getting it.

Not that I want to sound like one of those scary “THIS CAUSES CANCER” newspaper articles, Cancer Research UK did some research and found a loose link between obesity and your risk of getting some types of cancer.=: https://www.cancerresearchuk.org/about-cancer/causes-of-cancer/obesity-weight-and-cancer

Everything in moderation I always say 😉

I agree with Fiona and Sebastian on this question – there are almost endless possibilities for chemicals and products that could be useful for curing an illness perhaps. This is why research will always continue because as Sebastian said, there’s never really a silly question and a brilliant treatment may be found in an obscure place.
