Question: What's the best thing you job enables you to do ?

An obvious answer is travel. In the last couple of years I have been to four countries with work, and met countless people from different cultures that are working in science. These are amazing opportunities that perhaps I would not get with other jobs!
But one of the best things is this job enables me to be creative! Being a scientist means I can think of something that might happen, plan an experiment to test whether it does happen, then plan more experiments based on this! By doing this, my job actually enables me to create new knowledge, which is a very empowering feeling! A lot of the time my hypotheses don’t come true, and the experiment fails, but being allowed to be creative and follow my own ideas is great feeling.
